From Norman Records: Cult 2011 Indie dance champs Factory Floor are back with a double header 12" featuring the original version and an Optimo remix of their sweet epic club track ~(R E A L L O V E) and you know what? It's been loosely styled along the lines of the Donna Summer classic 'I Feel Love' - all relentless, galloping ecstatic Moroder-isms but it also brings forth a discreet ACR/Liquid Liquid-ish kick to the undercurrent with blurred wisps of vocal cloud hovering & stuttering in & out of the mix. This is a kicking monster of a tune that doesn't really care that it wears it's influences on its sleeve. There's also a distinct industrial/EBM feel to it further along the line, enhanced even more greatly by the totally stunning Optimo remix. A dark, pulsing, brooding MONSTER that will surely slay dancefloors all over the shop. Just the right pace, the atmosphere throughout is thrillingly electric & volatile, that classic synth sound is embellished by some stunning aural pyrotechnics tha t just ramp up the excitement levels no end. I was expecting nothing this good, I'm having one of these babes!!

Originally recorded between 1974 and 1978 at Industrial Records studio in London 'The Space Between' album was first released as a 90 minute cassette in 1980 on Throbbing Gristle's Industrial Records label. It wasn't until 1991 that it was again released by Mute Records on CD. Although tracks from 'The Space Between' have appeared on numerous compilations since its release, the album has never been available on vinyl until now.
This new vinyl edition on Optimo Music, now retitled 'The Spaces Between', doesn't include all the tracks of the original album but has been enhanced and remastered from the original two-track master tapes and has new cover artwork especially for this release.

Next up and out on June 29th is a 4 track 10 inch EP on blood red vinyl with full colour sleeve from Glasgow's Divorce. Recorded fast and loud in true SST Records style last February by Chris White of fellow Glasgow noiseniks Plaaydoh, DIVORCE's debut 10" EP (untitled, or self-titled, it's your call) features four examples of their anvil-heavy, rhythmically propulsive NAE-WAVE sound; incorporating elements of late '70s lower Manhattan art-noise and mid '80s Chicago ferocity, then embellishing the lot with their own very individual sense of intent and execution. It's a recording that captures all these elements, aiming to offer a mere taste of the rough-edged aggression of their live show.
